With over 8,000 residents, Brentwood is an active community in the Central St Louis County Corridor. Brentwood has been around since the 1870’s. Originally named Maddenville, it was renamed Brentwood and incorporated as a village in Dec 1919 and a city in 1929. Today Brentwood has fabulous activities for all it’s residents – parks, trails, an ice arena, community center, special programs for youth and children, a our 4 legged friends and Seniors and much more. A collaboration with the Richmond Heights and Maplewood, allows residents of all 3 cities to share in current activities!
Brentwood has it’s own excellent Brentwood School District, with 1 high school, a middle school and 2 elementary schools. The High School and Mark Twain Elementary are both National Blue Ribbon Award Schools.
Located very close to the Clayton Business District, Brentwood has ample shopping and restaurants as well as quick access to Highway 64/40.
