Chesterfield

Chesterfield, Missouri is actually a fairly new city. It was formed in 1988 by a group of residents who wanted to ensure the quality of life in their community. Chesterfield was ranked by Movoto Real Estate as the “Safest Place to Live in Missouri” at the start of 2015. It has also been recognized as a “Tree City USA

The city provides a wonderful assortment of amenities for it’s residents – parks and walking, hiking and biking trails, a community center, the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex for softball, soccer, sports camps and more! the Chesterfield Family Aquatic Center for summer pool fun, a new outdoor ampitheater for programs, and much more! Noted for it’s “walkability” Chesterfield has a published bike and walkable community plan. Located in Chesterfield but owned and managed by St Louis County, you will also find Faust Park, which features a Butterfly House associated with the Missouri Botanical Gardens, a historic Carousel that you can ride and a Historic Village along with Thornhill, the home of the second Governor of the State of Missouri.

In addition, they provide wonderful programming including a fabulous Free Summer Concert Series, a Wine and Jazz Festival, fabulous 4th of July Fireworks and Celebration, wonderful shopping and restaurants at all levels of prices, Very Dog Friendly, Chesterfield has an annual “Yappy Hour” and “Yappy Howl-O-Ween” event for their furry 4 legged friends at their Dog Park at Eberwein Park!

They recently built a Veterans Honor Park as part of the Chesterfield Central Park
